Manufacturing Engineer (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain manufacturing methods, operating sequences, and processes for parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
• Coordinate the release of product improvements and new products with other engineering functions.
• Lead the use of design for excellence principles to reduce manufacturing and product costs and improve quality.
• Define time standards and recommend tooling and process requirements.
• Develop test procedures, evaluate results, and assess work methods, procedures, and policies.
• Identify root causes and corrective actions during assembly or system testing, perform process failure mode and effects analysis, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 4–7 years of experience.
• Conceptual knowledge and technical experience for everyday problem-solving.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, reach, lift, work in tight spaces, distinguish colors, and use hand and power tools.
• Ability to work in noisy environments and, when required, use personal protective equipment in a clean room.

• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain difficult or sensitive information clearly and build consensus.
