Full Time Laboratory Technician I

Location: DeSoto, Texas, USA. Onsite laboratory role with a Tuesday–Saturday schedule from 10:00am to 6:30pm.

What you will do

• Manage outsourced samples with partner laboratories to support timely certificate-of-analysis release.
• Prepare samples for sister and contract laboratories, including aseptic preparation and processing where required.
• Process electronic orders, register incoming samples, and enter sample data accurately into the laboratory management system.
• Coordinate internal and external courier deliveries and assist with route logistics.
• Maintain accurate daily records, supply inventory, and documentation required for quality control and regulatory purposes.
• Follow quality, health, safety, environmental, and laboratory procedures while identifying process issues and proposing solutions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in microbiology, food sciences, chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or a related field.
• Experience with plating, plate reading, and sample preparation.
• Strong computer, scientific, organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, learn new techniques, manage multiple tasks, maintain accurate records, and follow instructions.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship. Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
