Surveyor/CAD Designer (AutoCAD Civil 3D)

What you will do

• Support field surveys, stakeout activities, and construction quality assurance.
• Prepare technical figures and drawings from sketches and engineering information.
• Research client-required standards and codes for plan development.
• Collaborate with project managers, design engineers, and CAD operators to develop and modify land development designs.
• Revise drawings to meet project specifications and conduct design reviews before release.
• Assist with model presentations for project teams and client meetings.

Requirements

• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D or related software and MS Access databases or database design.
• At least two years of relevant experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience producing plans from survey through final design in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work under several project engineers, and meet deadlines.
• Critical thinking, attention to detail, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 applications, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams; occasional weekend or extended-hours work may be required.
