Manager, Facilities & Technical Maintenance

What you will do

• Manage daily facilities operations, technical maintenance, grounds, and maintenance staff across assigned facilities.
• Maintain MEP, life safety, elevator, boiler, chiller, cooling tower, HVAC, and building automation systems.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs and perform electrical troubleshooting, repairs, and component replacements for HVAC and building systems.
• Manage vendors, service providers, purchase orders, invoices, contractual obligations, and performance reviews.
• Lead, mentor, train, and evaluate facilities and technical maintenance team members.
• Support tenant improvements, inspections, municipal coordination, emergency preparedness, utilities management, sustainability initiatives, and major market events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of facilities management or building operations experience.
• Experience with large commercial buildings or multi-building campuses and strong knowledge of HVAC mechanical systems and building infrastructure.
• Ability to interpret electrical wiring diagrams, ladder diagrams, control schematics, and HVAC sequences of operation.
• Knowledge of facilities engineering, building systems, tenant improvements, security, public-use facilities, Microsoft Office, and facilities management or forecasting systems.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings or weekends during major events, and navigate mechanical areas, rooftops, and service corridors.

• Experience managing facilities used for large-scale events or high-occupancy environments.
