Senior Manager Energy & Industry

Location: Maastricht, Netherlands, with the option to work from home, at the client, or from the office in Amsterdam.

What you will do

• Guide energy and utilities companies through the transition to the New Energy Reality.
• Lead projects including market and market-entry studies, operational process improvement, investment decision-making, regulatory compliance, outsourcing, and vendor selection.
• Ensure project delivery exceeds client expectations while coordinating hirify.global consultants and client representatives.
• Coach and mentor consultants and manage project teams.
• Support business development, sales, and the growth of consulting offerings.
• Monitor energy-market and company trends and initiate actions to adapt services.

Requirements

• Master’s degree.
• At least 8 years of consulting experience in the utilities industry.
• Established business network among relevant energy companies.
• Strong understanding of energy-market developments and their impact across the value chain.
• Excellent English and Dutch verbal and written skills.
• Experience managing teams, with a self-starting, entrepreneurial, and flexible approach.

Nice to have

• Fluent German.
• Strong interest in data and AI-related topics.
