Intermediate Backend Engineer (CI/CD)

Base salary: 248,000–372,000 PLN per year

What you will do

• Develop and maintain tools for creating and managing pipelines, including CI/CD components and the CI/CD Catalog.
• Write efficient, maintainable, testable code and contribute to code reviews.
• Deliver small features with minimal guidance and collaborate on larger projects.
• Improve pipeline creation reliability, security, performance, scalability, usability, and user experience.
• Identify technical debt, propose solutions, and participate in asynchronous Agile planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Participate in Tier 2 on-call rotations to troubleshoot product operations, security operations, and urgent engineering issues.

Requirements

• Proficiency with Ruby and Ruby on Rails, including proven experience writing testable Ruby on Rails code.
• Experience with relational database management systems.
• Ability to self-manage and organize work in an asynchronous, collaborative environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely about complex technical, architectural, and organizational problems and propose thorough iterative solutions.
• Familiarity with various stages of end-to-end software development.
• Ability to work effectively with product managers, designers, and other engineers.
• Commitment to continuous learning and openness to giving and receiving feedback.

Nice to have

• Experience with PostgreSQL.
• Experience with GraphQL.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
