Early Engineering Hire (AI/Fullstack)

Location: On-site in Munich, Bavaria, Germany

Salary: €60,000–€90,000 annually

hirify.global is an early-stage logistics AI startup building technology to make global freight forwarding operations autonomous.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain critical parts of the core product end to end.
• Develop reliable full-stack features that improve daily freight-forwarding workflows.
• Evaluate, benchmark, fine-tune, and integrate AI and LLM capabilities for domain accuracy.
• Experiment with new models, frameworks, and agentic techniques in production, iterating from data and user feedback.
• Improve large-scale legacy codebases and build scalable infrastructure and automation for heavy data and AI workloads.
• Collaborate closely with founders and teammates as a hands-on, high-ownership contributor.

Requirements

• Around 2–3 years of professional engineering experience, or strong projects and an equivalent track record.
• Strong full-stack engineering skills with backend and cloud experience.
• Fluent Python and practical experience with AI/ML systems, including benchmarking, fine-tuning, LLM integration, and production experimentation.
• Experience engineering for scale, automating systems, and working with complex legacy codebases.
• Strong computer science fundamentals, autonomy, ownership, self-discipline, and a results-oriented working style.
• Ability and enthusiasm to work on-site in Munich; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Go.
• Prior startup or entrepreneurial experience.
