Country Security Officer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Košice, Slovakia; remote working is available only within Slovakia due to European taxation regulations.

Salary: from €1,900 gross per month; final salary is negotiable and depends on seniority and experience, with variable compensation and other financial benefits.

What you will do

• Steer the implementation of security requirements across business processes and subordinate legal entities.
• Define security guidelines, processes, responsibilities, and local regulations.
• Maintain and further develop security management systems and related matrix certification.
• Plan tactical security programs and represent the legal entity in security management committees.
• Manage risk mapping, audit planning, incident reporting, critical asset identification, security concepts, and crisis management.
• Act as an interface to relevant authorities, interest groups, and security stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Security Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in security management.
• Advanced knowledge of IT strategy practices, enterprise architecture, security architecture, third-party auditing, and cloud risk assessment methodologies.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
• Advanced English proficiency at C1 level is required.
• Certified Cybersecurity Manager certification, or willingness to obtain it.
