Developer Advocate (AI)

hirify.global builds tools and services for collecting, formatting, and delivering web data at scale, including hirify.global API and Scrapy.

What you will do

• Represent hirify.global at developer conferences, meetups, podcasts, webinars, panels, and community events.
• Develop and deliver technical talks, workshops, live demonstrations, presentations, videos, tutorials, and code samples.
• Show developers how to integrate hirify.global API and Scrapy and solve web scraping and data extraction challenges.
• Explore LLM-powered applications and AI agent workflows supported by reliable web data.
• Build relationships with developers, community leaders, event organizers, technology partners, and independent advocates.
• Turn developer feedback into improvements to tools, documentation, resources, and community initiatives.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in developer advocacy, community engagement, or related technical roles, with an established following.
• Strong understanding of web technologies, APIs, web scraping, and data extraction.
• Demonstrable knowledge of Python and an interest in web data extraction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public-speaking experience.
• Experience with communities, social media, blogging, and event engagement.
• Self-motivated, self-reliant, able to prioritize tasks, and effective as a team player.

Nice to have

• Experience with Scrapy, headless browsers, and web scraping.
• Background in community building and event hosting.
