Software Engineer (Java)

What you will do

• Develop complex features for the enterprise master data management platform.
• Present technical solutions to architects and make day-to-day implementation decisions.
• Drive feature delivery, distribute tasks, and provide technical leadership to engineers.
• Work with technical leads, architects, QA, product managers, and cross-functional representatives.
• Review testing approaches and plans, and ensure strong unit and integration test coverage.
• Maintain internal feature documentation and provide ongoing support for owned areas.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in enterprise application and backend development.
• At least 1 year of experience building scalable distributed data systems with Java and cloud technology.
• Strong knowledge of Java 8+, Java Runtime fundamentals, algorithms, data structures, software design, and distributed systems.
• Experience with performance optimization, code profiling, and Java application runtime analysis.
• Ability to design and deliver solutions, support implementations, communicate with customers, and provide technical mentorship.
• Hands-on experience writing and reviewing production code.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting customers in a SaaS environment.
• Experience with Big Data technologies and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with AWS, GBT, Azure, or other cloud-managed services.
• Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
