Investment Operations Analyst (Fintech)

What you will do

• Process client transactions from instruction and confirmation through settlement and maturity.
• Reconcile positions and cash against counterparty records, investigate breaks, and clear discrepancies.
• Calculate month-end client yield and fee accruals and reconcile them with counterparty reporting.
• Prepare monthly client statements and complete a four-eyes review before release.
• Support collateral custody operations, including asset movements, client instructions, and periodic reporting.
• Maintain client documentation, answer client, counterparty, and audit queries, and improve back-office procedures and tooling.

Requirements

• 1–4 years of experience in operations, finance, fund administration, or client servicing at a bank, broker, asset manager, or fund administrator.
• Careful, numerate approach with strong attention to reconciliation accuracy and data quality.
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large data files.
• Ability to work calmly under month-end and reporting deadlines and escalate issues early.
• Clear written English is required for correspondence with counterparties and institutional clients.
• Discretion when handling confidential client information.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of securities settlement mechanics, fixed income, or repo.
• Exposure to digital assets or collateral management.
• Experience with a custodian, prime broker, or fund accounting platform.
• Familiarity with client onboarding or tax documentation.
• Experience documenting procedures or specifying requirements for operations tooling.
