Location: Taipei, Taiwan. Right to work in Taiwan is required.

What you will do

• Implement BIOS features including POST, ACPI, SMBIOS, PCIe, USB, and memory initialization.
• Customize BIOS for specific platforms and maintain firmware version control.
• Perform root-cause analysis of firmware issues and support hardware bring-up and validation during pre-silicon and post-silicon phases.
• Collaborate with hardware architects, silicon design teams, OS developers, and OEM/ODM partners.
• Ensure compliance with UEFI and ACPI standards and optimize server reliability, availability, and serviceability features.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of BIOS or firmware development experience.
• Proficiency in C and familiarity with UEFI frameworks such as EDK2 and AMI.
• Knowledge of x86 architectures, PCIe, and memory subsystems.
• Experience with debugging tools, hardware validation, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Satisfactory proof of the right to work in Taiwan is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Windows on ARM BIOS, server RAS features, or embedded systems.
