Staff Embedded Systems Engineer (C/C++)

What you will do

• Develop, debug, and optimize embedded firmware for hirify.global MCUs using C/C++ in bare-metal and RTOS environments.
• Provide technical application engineering support to customers using hirify.global MCU products.
• Develop proof-of-concept solutions that demonstrate hirify.global MCU capabilities.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend MCU products and solutions for end-user applications.
• Collaborate with FAEs, marketing, and business-unit engineering teams on design-ins and customer escalations.
• Provide technical guidance and training while contributing engineering insights to MCU product roadmaps.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or equivalent; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 8+ years of professional experience in embedded systems.
• Strong experience developing embedded MCU firmware in C/C++.
• Understanding of CPU architecture, electronic circuits, MCU peripherals, and communication protocols.
• Experience with RTOS platforms such as FreeRTOS or Azure RTOS.
• Good English communication skills and willingness to engage with customers primarily in Taiwan.

Nice to have

• Experience with IoT connectivity, server protocols, and security applications.
• Prior application engineering, field application engineering, or customer-facing engineering experience.
• Knowledge of UART, SPI, I²C, PMBus, CAN, and Ethernet.
