Senior Business Architect (AI)

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States; hybrid schedule with at least four days per week in the office and flexibility to work from home one day per week. Applicants must already have US work authorization without requiring current or future visa sponsorship.

Base salary: $114,500–$157,400 per year, with potential variable compensation through bonuses, commissions, and/or long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Apply business architecture tools to assess capabilities, analyze solutions, prioritize investments, and create road maps aligned with enterprise strategy.
• Map customer journeys, identify moments of truth and experience gaps, and design improvements across customer touchpoints.
• Ensure projects and operations deliver agreed business outcomes while contributing as a subject matter expert or proxy product owner.
• Lead proofs of concept, prototypes, cross-functional design teams, group sessions, and customer experience improvement initiatives.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to define needs, recommend innovative technologies, and influence decisions at the executive level.
• Coach stakeholders and functional groups on customer-centric methods, architectural practices, experience design, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Business, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years of business architecture experience covering strategy, impact analysis, solution design, delivery oversight, and performance analysis.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with and influence different levels of leadership.
• Advanced knowledge of modeling, simulation, analysis techniques, and related methodologies.
• Experience leading, influencing, and managing business process improvement, optimization, or re-engineering initiatives with operations teams.
• Ability to apply architectural principles, methods, and tools to complex business challenges.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio.

Nice to have

• Experience incorporating Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, and automation into business strategies, operating models, products, and workflows.
• Experience supporting Agile projects; Agile certification is preferred.
• Experience supporting large projects across all phases and balancing long-term and short-term priorities.
• Strong understanding of business operations and key business drivers.
• Demonstrated success in highly collaborative environments and ability to lead.
