Laser Technician I (Surgical Lasers)

Location: Home Office, Idaho; additional location in Utah. The role requires in-person presence in operating rooms and transportation of medical equipment.

What you will do

• Test, clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical laser and other operating-room equipment before and after procedures.
• Remain present in the operating room during procedures and support physician-directed equipment needs.
• Communicate equipment defects and maintenance requirements to relevant stakeholders.
• Transport equipment and vehicles to ensure timely availability for procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current, valid, unrestricted driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and push or pull up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and repeatedly bend, reach, stoop, twist, climb, crouch, kneel, and crawl.
• Prior medical, EMT, surgical technologist, or military experience is preferred.
