What you will do
- Lead patient, volume, and revenue forecasting for the systemic mastocytosis portfolio, initially focused on AYVAKIT and later pipeline products.
- Develop and communicate forecasts for annual strategic planning, budget cycles, medium-term updates, and monthly rolling forecasts.
- Provide performance updates, price and volume analyses, demand and inventory analyses, and proactive insights on risks and opportunities.
- Enhance forecast models using segmentation, patient-flow assumptions, market research, analogue analyses, external forecasts, and brand strategy.
- Partner with Finance, Market Access, Commercial, Global Forecasting, Demand Planning, Marketing, Sales, Patient Support Services, Data Management, and external data providers.
- Coach junior team members on onboarding, upskilling, and -specific processes and data.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; an MBA, MS, MD, or PhD is preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech analytics, forecasting, and/or market research; consulting or advanced-degree experience may be considered.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical data sources, including IQVIA patient-level data, syndicated reports, specialty pharmacy data, and payer or health insurance environments.
- Strong business acumen, communication and presentation skills, project management ability, and comfort balancing multiple priorities.
- Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment with numerous cross-functional partners.
- Must be based in Cambridge, MA or Morristown, NJ, United States, and work onsite.
Nice to have
- Experience in rare disease, oncology, or hematology.
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining Excel-based forecast models.
- Programming experience with VBA, SQL, R, or Python.
- Experience with cloud-based data warehouse and analytics platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks.
