Senior Director, Therapeutic Area Insights – Neuro & Other Rare (Biopharma)

Location: Hybrid role based out of the Bridgewater, New Jersey office, with remote work available most of the time and in-person collaboration as needed. Occasional domestic or international travel may be required.

What you will do

• Advise Therapeutic Area leadership and Global Program Teams on insights, analytics, and data-driven portfolio decisions.
• Identify key business questions and design strategic research plans to support strategy development and portfolio planning.
• Lead end-to-end market research, analytics, competitive intelligence, and forecasting projects.
• Manage external vendors, including scoping, RFP processes, methodology approval, and budget oversight.
• Guide long-range forecasting, demand and sales-driver modeling, scenario analysis, and sensitivity assessments.
• Build and mentor a high-performing team while coordinating insights and analytics approaches across EMEA and Japan.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, statistics, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in strategic consulting, market research, or business development within the biopharmaceutical industry.
• Deep understanding of one-time or specialized in vivo or ex vivo therapies administered in treatment centers, including gene, gene-editing, or cell therapies.
• Proven leadership experience selecting, developing, and mentoring high-performing teams.
• Ability to transform complex data into clear strategic narratives and identify the underlying drivers behind trends.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with strong organization and attention to detail.

• Familiarity with global insights and analytics approaches across EMEA and/or Japan.
