2027 Commercial Summer Intern (Corporate Banking)

Location: Tampa, Florida, United States; 10-week onsite summer internship starting June 1, 2027. Candidates must currently reside in the United States.

What you will do

• Support senior bankers and the corporate banking coverage support group.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Management to build experience with underwriting practices.
• Contribute to live deals through industry and company analysis, financial modeling, and pitch books.
• Work with the Commercial Excellence team on Salesforce and CRM user experience improvements.
• Participate in team meetings, capital markets calls, and broader commercial banking calls.
• Complete project-based assignments and special projects with guidance from an assigned mentor.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate bachelor's or graduate program and graduating between Winter 2027 and Spring 2028.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2; a GPA of 3.5 is preferred and should be included on the resume.
• Strong communication, analytical, and software skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Relevant finance, accounting, or economics coursework or experience is preferred; all majors are considered.
• Must currently reside in the United States and have permanent authorization to work in the United States. Immigration sponsorship and work visas are not available.
