Staff Continuous Improvement Specialist (Biotechnology)

What you will do

• Own the technical performance and results of transformational initiatives, including visual and daily management systems.
• Work with site leadership to set priorities and translate strategy into actionable continuous improvement plans.
• Evaluate and prioritize the CI project portfolio against IOPS strategic priorities, then design, execute, and manage major initiatives.
• Track and report initiative impact against Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People metrics.
• Facilitate cross-site and cross-functional Kaizens and structured problem-solving activities to eliminate waste and gain stakeholder alignment.
• Develop CI systems, tools, and training while supporting deployment and upskilling across IOPS.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, engineering, or business discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in operations, manufacturing, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience working in a highly regulated environment such as GMP.
• Ability to manage significant projects, influence senior stakeholders, and communicate proposals and reports to different audiences.
• Principal Specialist level: bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of experience.
• Ability to work onsite in Raheen, Limerick, Ireland.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or MBA.
