Project Manager (WordPress)

Location: Remote from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, or North Macedonia; at least 7 hours of overlap with the 9 am–5 pm EST workday, Monday–Friday

What you will do

• Manage multiple WordPress website development projects from kickoff through launch, within scope, budget, and deadlines.
• Coordinate developers, designers, SEO specialists, copywriters, and QA specialists.
• Define project scope, priorities, timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation.
• Act as the primary client contact, provide updates, manage expectations, and resolve issues.
• Review deliverables for quality, functionality, SEO, accessibility, and project alignment.
• Identify risks, remove blockers, and maintain efficient project progress.

Requirements

• Professional English at C1 level or higher.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, Management, Marketing, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience managing WordPress website development projects in a digital marketing or web development agency.
• Strong understanding of the WordPress development lifecycle, including discovery, design, development, QA, launch, and post-launch support.
• Experience managing multiple client projects and coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Asana or similar project management tools.

Nice to have

• Hands-on WordPress configuration and content management experience.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Core Web Vitals, technical SEO, and accessibility.
• Experience with Elementor, Divi, or Gutenberg.
• Project Management certification or Agile/Scrum experience.
