Senior Performance Engineer

What you will do

• Design, develop, and execute performance tests covering system performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Define performance testing requirements and objectives with stakeholders.
• Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide data-driven improvement recommendations.
• Optimize application code, configurations, and infrastructure with development and operations teams.
• Use and evaluate tools including JMeter, Azure Load Testing, Dynatrace, LoadRunner, and Gatling.
• Generate performance reports and integrate performance testing into development and Agile release cycles.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in performance testing and engineering.
• Proficiency with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Azure Load Testing, Dynatrace, LoadRunner, Gatling, or similar.
• Experience with Java, Python, C#, or similar programming and scripting languages for test automation and performance scripting.
• Strong understanding of response time, throughput, latency, system architecture, web servers, databases, and network infrastructure.
• Strong analytical, reporting, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills, plus familiarity with Agile methodologies.
