TL;DR
PR Lead (Crypto): Owning the global PR narrative, agency portfolio, earned media programme, executive positioning, crisis communications, and events programme with an accent on regulated crypto communications, tier-one media coverage, and measurable agency outcomes. Focus on building founder and executive visibility, shaping news pipelines, managing reputational risk, and defining coverage and share-of-voice KPIs.
Location: Worldwide; remote or hybrid with flexible hours across international teams

What you will do
- Own the global PR narrative, including priority markets, media outlets, narrative pillars, and a six-month coverage ambition.
- Run the existing PR agency portfolio through briefs, KPIs, monthly reviews, scope consolidation, and renewal or exit decisions.
- Build the news pipeline from product launches, milestones, data, partnerships, and category commentary.
- Lead founder and executive positioning across speaking platforms, keynotes, podcasts, op-eds, LinkedIn, awards, and rankings.
- Manage reputation and crisis communications, including risk mapping, holding statements, escalation protocols, and spokesperson training.
- Build senior media relationships, manage the events and side-events programme, and report on coverage quality, share of voice, message pull-through, executive visibility, and cost per outcome.
Requirements
- At least six years of experience in PR or communications, including direct management of external agencies and accountability for results.
- Demonstrable tier-one business, financial, fintech, or crypto media coverage personally shaped or secured.
- Hands-on crisis communications experience in a scrutinised or regulated category.
- Experience building a credible founder or executive public voice from a low base.
- Experience with major event and conference programmes, sponsorship, partnership communications, and collaboration with Legal and Compliance.
- Fluent English, excellent news judgement, very strong written English, and the ability to assess agency retainers and commercial outcomes.
