General Manager - Cards (Fintech)

Location: Worldwide; remote or hybrid with flexible hours

Company

hirify.global is developing a Cards business covering card products, payment infrastructure, customer spending, and related unit economics.

What you will do

• Own the Cards business strategy, P&L, budget, roadmap, execution, and performance.
• Manage the full card customer journey, including onboarding, issuance, activation, virtual and physical cards, subscriptions, cashback, spending, and KYC flows.
• Lead relationships with issuing, processing, BaaS, and other card infrastructure providers, including commercial negotiations and operational dependencies.
• Build financial models and optimize card economics, customer profitability, transaction volume, retention, monetization, and LTV.
• Lead the Cards engineering team and work with the Tech Lead on architecture, delivery, releases, hiring, and critical incidents.
• Use AI and automation across product development, analytics, specifications, QA, and operational processes.

Requirements

• Strong end-to-end experience with card products and experience launching or scaling a card program.
• Experience with issuing, processing, BaaS, or card infrastructure, including direct negotiations with card providers.
• Strong understanding of card unit economics, customer margin, transaction economics, issuance costs, and LTV.
• Experience managing external-provider dependencies and, ideally, reducing vendor lock-in.
• Strong product, commercial, analytical, and data-driven mindset with technical literacy.
• Experience managing product or engineering teams; experience owning revenue or P&L is highly preferred.

• Experience in fintech, neobanking, payments, crypto cards, wallets, or exchanges.
