Senior AI Behavioral Scientist & Product Analyst (AI)

What you will do

• Evaluate AI agents and autonomous systems across usability, task completion, error recovery, user satisfaction, reliability, transparency, and failure modes.
• Design behavioral studies, analytics frameworks, instrumentation, and success metrics for AI agent interactions.
• Perform statistical analysis, A/B testing, cohort analysis, and systems-level assessments of accuracy, latency, cost efficiency, scalability, and robustness.
• Identify user experience friction, bottlenecks, and trade-offs across the AI-user interaction lifecycle.
• Build dashboards, reports, and data narratives connecting product adoption and customer value with retention and revenue.
• Partner with product managers, engineers, UX researchers, and designers to validate hypotheses and guide roadmap priorities.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in user analytics, product analytics, behavioral research, or HCI research.
• Experience evaluating AI systems, machine learning models, chatbots, autonomous agents, LLMs, or conversational AI.
• Strong HCI and behavioral science knowledge, including cognitive load, mental models, task completion, and user trust.
• Proficiency with SQL and Python or R for statistical analysis, plus experience with A/B testing, experimental design, analytics instrumentation, and complex datasets.
• Ability to reason systemically about product performance and communicate technical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; employment visa sponsorship, including H-1B sponsorship, is not available.

Nice to have

• Formal usability testing, user research, or user testing experience.
• Experience with Amplitude, Mixpanel, Looker, Tableau, Snowflake, or dbt.
• Knowledge of causal inference, econometric modeling, systems thinking, NPS, SUS, sentiment analysis, or free-text feedback analysis.
• Familiarity with networking, IT operations, B2B SaaS, or operational metrics such as MTTR, uptime, and escalation rate.
• Graduate degree in psychology, HCI, behavioral science, statistics, or a related field.
