Registered Dental Assistant - Oral Surgery (Dental Assisting/Oral Surgery): Providing chairside assistance, patient preparation, radiographic services, and instrument and operatory preparation for oral surgery treatments with an accent on four-handed dentistry, infection control, and dental imaging. Focus on supporting graduate students during high-volume patient care, anticipating suction and retraction needs, and performing sterilization and radiographic procedures.
Location: On-site in Dallas, Texas, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Salary: $17.78–$21.51 per hour, depending on Dental Assistant level and experience.

What you will do
- Prepare patients and treatment rooms for oral surgery appointments.
- Provide chairside assistance to graduate students during patient examinations and treatments.
- Perform four-handed dentistry, including suction and retraction, while anticipating procedural needs.
- Disinfect and sterilize operatories, instruments, and equipment in accordance with OSHA and local procedures.
- Operate dental radiography equipment and assist with intraoral radiographs and oral photography.
- Prepare dental materials and instruments according to dentist instructions and manufacturer guidelines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education and experience.
- Registered Dental Assistant certification and CPR certification required for all levels.
- Dental Assistant II requires two years of registered dental assisting experience and experience with dental implant procedures.
- Dental Assistant III requires four years of registered dental assisting experience and experience with dental implant procedures.
- Ability to work on-site in Dallas, Texas, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Nice to have
- DAANCE certification.
- Experience with IV sedation and oral surgery.
- Experience in a high-volume educational institution.
