Dental Hygienist

Location: Sunnyvale, California, United States; onsite at a Health Center. Full-time schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm or 9:30am–6:30pm, subject to change within operating hours of 8:00am–6:30pm.

Salary: $54.40–$75.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Deliver direct dental care to patients using established hygienist procedures.
• Perform cleanings, polishing, X-rays, sealants, fluorides, and related preventive treatments.
• Assess dental conditions through medical history review, dental charting, periodontal charting, and screening procedures.
• Develop individualized dental care plans and maintain accurate dental records.
• Maintain equipment and supplies, coordinate patient scheduling, and document laboratory procedures and follow-up.
• Perform patient triage and initiate emergency measures or appropriate care when needed.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program in accordance with state dental board guidelines.
• Active state dental hygiene license required.
• Current hands-on AHA or ARC Basic Life Support certification for healthcare providers required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification may be required depending on the contract scope of services.
• At least one year of experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of dental equipment and techniques.
