Advanced Cost Analyst (DoD)

Consulting and analytics organization supporting Naval Information Warfare Systems Command and other Department of Defense projects.

What you will do

• Conduct cost analyses and cost estimates for life-cycle cost estimates, analyses of alternatives, business case analyses, and trade studies.
• Develop cost models and implement cost-estimating methodologies.
• Provide analytical support for program controls and reporting.
• Analyze and assess programmatic schedules.

Requirements

• 5+ years of cost analysis or cost-estimating experience, preferably in Department of Defense acquisition programs.
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in mathematics, engineering, business, or the sciences.
• 24 semester hours of quantitative coursework, including three hours of college-level calculus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and cost-estimating tools such as ACEIT and Crystal Ball.
• Minimum interim Secret-level security clearance required.
• Strong communication, quantitative, research, and analytical skills.

Nice to have

• Professional certification such as ICEAA PCEA, ICEAA CCEA, or DAWIA Level II.
• Experience with life-cycle cost estimate documentation, cost databases, risk and uncertainty analysis, business cases, economic analysis, net present value, cost-benefit analysis, and EVM tools.
