Senior SAP Security & GRC Engineer

Location: 100% remote within the United States. Candidates must be U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, EAD holders, or eligible for an H-1B transfer.

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 annually

What you will do

• Design and maintain SAP authorization concepts, least-privilege role structures, and master, derived, composite, and business roles for S/4HANA, ECC, and Fiori.
• Configure and operate SAP GRC Access Control, including ARA, ARM, BRM, EAM, rulesets, mitigating controls, and emergency access management.
• Perform segregation-of-duties analysis, configure provisioning workflows, and collaborate with business process owners, audit, and compliance teams.
• Operate SAP GRC Process Control and implement security for Fiori, SAP BTP, and cloud applications using XSUAA, IAS, and IPS.
• Support SOX, GxP, and PCI audits, remediate findings, and manage transport, table, and audit logging.
• Maintain technical documentation, monitor SAP Security Notes, and mentor junior security team members.

Requirements

• 5+ years of SAP Security / GRC experience in enterprise landscapes; the position description also specifies 10+ years of overall experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP authorization concepts, role design, and SAP GRC Access Control.
• Experience securing Fiori, BTP, and cloud SAP applications, plus familiarity with SAP IDM or third-party IGA tooling.
• Experience supporting SAP audits and remediation activities, with knowledge of SOX, GxP, and PCI requirements.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
