Full Stack Developer (WordPress/React)

Location: US Nationwide - Remote; open to residents of the 50 states and D.C.

Salary: $66,379.50–$105,000 per year, with potential bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and update headless CMS and WordPress websites for multiple schools.
• Design and implement website features, templates, and functionality focused on usability, accessibility, and user experience.
• Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, marketing, and IT staff to define requirements and project plans.
• Provide architectural oversight, refactor code, review pull requests, and manage code merges.
• Support migrations, triage bugs, resolve production issues, and monitor website analytics.
• Manage testing, deployments, security, backups, maintenance, and post-release ownership.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in headless CMS, WordPress, and web development, with strong React ecosystem knowledge.
• Proficiency in front-end and back-end Contentful development.
• Strong experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, React patterns, hooks, context, and performance optimization.
• Experience with Next.js, SSR/SSG, modern build tools, data caching, and GraphQL.
• Knowledge of web design, accessibility, analytics, monitoring, security, backups, and maintenance.
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant certifications preferred; ability to clear a required background check.
