Information Security Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote from Argentina, Mexico, or Brazil

What you will do

• Design, configure, test, and maintain security platforms and enterprise security controls.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders on emerging controls, requirements, and technology decisions.
• Troubleshoot escalated platform errors and security incidents.
• Monitor platform health and coverage to ensure effective enterprise protection.
• Improve security processes through automation and configuration changes, and support incident response activities.
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to security training and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, focused on selecting, designing, and implementing enterprise security controls.
• Administration experience with at least three security technologies, including EDR, SIEM, UEBA, or SOAR.
• Working knowledge of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, Windows, Linux, macOS, and networking principles.
• Strong understanding of the threat landscape and enterprise security controls.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CCSP, or similar are required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST CSF, PCI DSS, GDPR, and other cybersecurity frameworks.
• Experience developing and implementing cybersecurity policies and standards.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity regulations and laws.
• Cyber incident response experience.
