What you will do

• Admit and provide nightly care for critically ill patients in a closed intensive care unit.
• Manage ventilators and airways for patients with respiratory failure.
• Place invasive monitoring devices when clinically appropriate.
• Manage pressors, resuscitation, and critical care interventions.
• Co-manage perioperative and postoperative patients and provide critical care consultations.
• Assist the Critical Assessment Team and Code Blue Response.

Requirements

• Physician qualified to provide critical care services in an intensive care unit.
• Availability for night/nocturnist shifts, averaging approximately nine shifts per month.
• Ability to work onsite in Manchester or Nashua, New Hampshire.
• Ability to manage airway emergencies, mechanical ventilation, invasive monitoring, pressors, and resuscitation.
