What you will do
- Install, configure, and maintain proprietary collection and QA software on personal hardware.
- Execute structured test plans and exploratory testing before and during data collection runs.
- Reproduce issues, collect crash logs and screenshots, and document step-by-step reproduction instructions.
- Report findings in written English via Slack and escalate critical issues to team leads.
- Validate Windows PC hardware, GPU performance, drivers, and network reliability against fleet requirements.
- Filter noisy reports and provide concise technical feedback to client engineering teams.
Requirements
- IT, Computer Science, technical support, or equivalent hands-on troubleshooting experience.
- Strong knowledge of Windows PC hardware setup, driver updates, GPU configuration, and fundamental networking.
- Ability to read system logs and communicate technical details clearly in writing.
- Fluent written English required for daily asynchronous and live collaboration.
- Full-time availability for a night-shift schedule, with flexibility to overlap client working hours.
- Personal computer capable of RTX 3060-class performance and 1080p60 output required; dual ISP or equivalent backup internet is strongly preferred.
Nice to have
- Prior game QA, software QA, or data-collection operations experience.
- Familiarity with crash dumps, observability tools, or bug trackers.
