Front-End Software Engineer (React)

Location: Billund, Denmark; hybrid with an average of 3 days per week in the office

A global product organisation developing digital experiences and technology for builders, collectors, and sellers through the BrickLink Catalog platform.

What you will do

• Modernise and replatform key capabilities of the BrickLink Catalog platform.
• Build frontend experiences and new catalog features using React and Next.js.
• Design scalable architectures that balance performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
• Develop reusable component libraries and frontend systems for multiple teams.
• Improve application performance, user experience, code quality, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers, the Lead Engineer, product managers, designers, and product teams.

Requirements

• Production-scale experience with React and Next.js.
• Strong TypeScript and modern JavaScript experience.
• Experience with frontend testing using Vitest or Playwright.
• Experience creating component-driven architectures and reusable frontend systems.
• Ability to own complex frontend solutions from design through delivery.
• Experience with code reviews, iterative development, and agile delivery practices.

Nice to have

• Experience building shared component libraries with Storybook.
• Experience with Contentstack CMS and content-driven experiences.
• Experience using Nx development tooling in large-scale applications.
