Sr. Manager, Finance

What you will do

• Serve as the Finance lead and authorized Legal Representative for the Mexico affiliate.
• Oversee local tax, accounting, payroll, social security, treasury, banking, customs, and statutory compliance activities.
• Manage e-Firma custody, SAT mailbox monitoring, filings, statutory communications, reconciliations, and audit-ready documentation.
• Represent hirify.global before Mexican authorities, banks, external advisors, and other stakeholders.
• Partner with the Mexico Commercial organization and Latin America teams on planning, forecasting, performance management, business cases, and scenario modelling.
• Strengthen financial governance, internal controls, operating calendars, risk management, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Must be a Mexican tax resident and eligible to act as the company's Legal Representative.
• Fluent Spanish and strong professional English required.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Tax, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 8–10 years of progressive experience in Mexican finance, tax, accounting, payroll, social security, treasury, or statutory compliance, ideally in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of SAT requirements, e-Firma, SAT tax mailbox obligations, electronic accounting, local tax filings, and statutory reporting.
• Experience with IMSS, INFONAVIT, FONACOT, customs authorities, banks, payroll providers, external advisors, payment controls, reconciliations, and audit readiness.

Nice to have

• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, medical devices, or another highly regulated industry.
• Previous experience as a legal representative, statutory signatory, finance controller, tax manager, or senior local finance lead in Mexico.
• Experience with customs, import processes, trade compliance, shared service centers, regional finance teams, or outsourced advisory providers.
• Experience with SAP or comparable enterprise financial systems and electronic accounting tools.
