ARD Facilitator (26-27)

Location: San Antonio, TX, USA; reports to the school site Monday-Friday with regular travel between campuses and regional offices.

What you will do

• Develop, write, monitor, and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), 504 plans, ARD paperwork, and related special education documentation.
• Schedule and support Admission, Review and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, notify participants, and ensure federal and state timelines are met.
• Coach school-based special education managers and staff on MTSS, 504, special education practices, and compliance.
• Analyze 504 and ARD compliance data, maintain assessment rosters, and use data to develop goals and support student needs.
• Provide monthly professional development, training, communication, and ongoing guidance to school-based staff.
• Collaborate with school teams, families, related service providers, internal departments, and the Director of ARD Facilitation to resolve issues and support student success.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and Special Education Certification.
• 3+ years of teaching experience focused on special education services.
• Knowledge of Section 504, the 13 IDEA eligibility categories, ARD committee functions, and special education law and procedures.
• Ability to report to the school site Monday-Friday and travel regularly between campuses or regional offices; reliable transportation is required.
• Successful background check and ability to maintain emotional control under stress.
