IMS Services & Delivery Senior Engineer (IMS)

Location: Athens, Attiki, Greece. Hybrid work combining remote and office-based work, with an option to work from abroad.

What you will do

• Develop core components for service platforms based on business requirements and modern technologies.
• Prototype and evolve product architecture using microservices, Kubernetes, Docker and RESTful services.
• Design development lifecycle processes covering CI/CD, test automation and code quality.
• Support integration into end-to-end service use cases and govern service certification.
• Identify opportunities for reuse, standardization, automation and platform harmonization across network operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Proven backend development experience with Java, C++ and Python, including API design and integration.
• Experience designing software architectures, analyzing complex technical challenges and developing robust solutions and prototypes.
• Strong knowledge of IMS networks, voice and data signaling, interfaces, protocols and network tracing tools.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix, shell scripting, Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, Git workflows, CI/CD, automation and DevOps toolchains.
• Professional fluency in English, with the ability to produce technical documentation, design specifications and release notes.
