Health Technology Assessment Consultant with German (Working from Spain)

Location: Barcelona, Spain; must be based in Spain. Hybrid or home-based work is available, with no travel required.

What you will do

• Contribute to German AMNOG dossiers, focusing on Modules 2–4.
• Assess clinical trial evidence, including efficacy, safety, patient-relevant endpoints, and subgroup analyses.
• Conduct systematic literature reviews and structured evidence syntheses.
• Prepare medical and scientific content, including AMNOG dossiers, G-BA statements and responses, reports, slide decks, and selected publications.
• Support indirect treatment comparisons and interpret statistical outputs.
• Collaborate with Market Access, HEOR, Medical Affairs, and EU-HTA teams while ensuring the quality and consistency of HTA documents.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in life sciences, biostatistics, epidemiology, pharmacy, or a related field.
• Initial experience in HTA, AMNOG, HEOR, or Market Access.
• Strong understanding of clinical study designs, endpoints, and statistical principles.
• Experience in scientific or medical writing, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, structured, and persuasive text.
• Fluent German and English, written and spoken; German is an absolute must.
• Structured, reliable, independent, quality-driven working style with strong communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with the German AMNOG process, IQWiG methodology, or G-BA procedures.
• Advanced Excel skills, data analysis experience, or familiarity with Python or another programming language.
• More than two years of advanced SAS and R programming experience.
• More than two years of hands-on clinical data analysis using CDISC SDTM/ADaM datasets.
• Experience with MS Office, reference management tools, statistics, data science, or programming.
