Quantum Computing Engineer Intern (AI)

Location: Hybrid in San Sebastian, Spain

What you will do

• Design and implement new quantum algorithms.
• Contribute to the design and improvement of the software codebase.
• Apply quantum annealing and hybrid quantum-classical techniques.
• Collaborate with quantum computing experts, the founding team, and Fortune 500 customers.
• Support advanced research and development projects in quantum computing and AI.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD degree in quantum physics, quantum engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of quantum computing algorithms, quantum annealing, and hybrid techniques.
• Knowledge of Python and scientific computing tools.
• Perfect command of English required.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse colleagues in person and online.

Nice to have

• PhD in quantum physics, computer science, or a related field.
• Experience with quantum computing SDKs such as Qiskit or PennyLane.
• Machine learning or industry experience.
• Experience with Git, unit testing, and Docker.
• Experience with error mitigation, optimization techniques, patent applications, or grant proposals.
