What you will do
- Serve as the primary quality assurance authority for Aerospace Ground Equipment and War Reserve Materiel operations.
- Conduct scheduled and unscheduled inspections, audits, surveillance, and record validation.
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements, military technical orders, safety directives, and applicable regulations.
- Investigate non-compliance issues, identify root causes, and lead corrective action plans with management and government representatives.
- Provide technical, quality, and safety training and mentorship across AGE department programs.
- Document QA activities and drive process improvements across maintenance, logistics, HAZMAT, cryogenics, and related functions.
Requirements
- US citizenship required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least eight years of experience in aircraft maintenance, Ground Support Equipment, or a related technical field.
- At least three years of dedicated QA or QC experience in a military or civilian aviation environment.
- Experience applying government contract requirements, military technical orders, and federal or local regulations.
- Experience with maintenance databases, inventory control systems, or quality management systems; a valid driver's license and ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret Security Clearance are required.
Nice to have
- USAF Aerospace Ground Equipment or formal military quality assurance experience.
- Experience with ELMS, IMDS, G081, PAMS, TCMax, IBM Maximo, SAP, or equivalent systems.
- Experience working with government Contracting Officer's Representatives and responding to Corrective Action Requests.
- Certifications or experience in maintenance, inspection, auditing, safety management, heavy diesel repair, electrical circuitry, HVAC, towing, or forklift operation.
