Sr Engineer, Performance Test (Cloud Performance Testing): Designing and executing end-to-end performance tests for complex enterprise and cloud-based applications with an accent on load modeling, bottleneck analysis, and scalability. What you will do
- Plan, design, and execute end-to-end performance tests, including load, stress, endurance, spike, and scalability testing.
- Develop, parameterize, and maintain scripts, scenarios, workloads, and data-driven performance frameworks using JMeter, LoadRunner, and Gatling.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, platform, infrastructure, and operations teams to define SLAs, SLOs, KPIs, and performance success criteria.
- Analyze performance results, identify bottlenecks and root causes, and recommend tuning, optimization, and capacity strategies.
- Prepare data-driven reports, dashboards, and presentations for technical and business stakeholders.
- Support shift-left performance testing and guide project teams on performance practices throughout the SDLC.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- 4–8 years of experience in performance testing.
- Strong experience with JMeter, LoadRunner, and Gatling.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript scripting.
- Understanding of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional and client teams.
