Lead Associate - Quality (QA Automation)

Location: Hybrid role based in Pune, India

What you will do

• Lead, support, coach, and develop Test Analysts and other quality practitioners.
• Define risk-based test strategies, plans, coverage, environments, data, and release-readiness evidence.
• Design and execute exploratory, functional, integration, regression, non-functional, and user acceptance testing.
• Develop, maintain, and review manual and automated tests for web applications, APIs, integrations, and data flows.
• Investigate, reproduce, document, and support root-cause analysis for defects and verify fixes.
• Improve testability, automation coverage, CI/CD quality checks, testing efficiency, and quality transparency.

Requirements

• 10–15 years of automation and quality assurance testing experience, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent applied experience, with a relevant testing qualification such as ISTQB Foundation Level or equivalent experience.
• Strong experience with manual and automated testing, Selenium, Playwright, frontend UI automation, backend/API automation, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience testing APIs, integrations, data flows, or databases using Postman and SQL or equivalent tools.
• Experience with test-management, defect-management, delivery, collaboration tools, automation frameworks, CI pipelines, performance testing, observability, or application monitoring.
• Experience working in insurance, financial services, or another regulated environment, plus strong Agile, stakeholder-management, communication, analytical, and mentoring skills.
