Senior Frontend Developer (Vue)

Location: Remote from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

What you will do

• Own complex modules and product features within a Vue 3 single-page application.
• Influence module architecture, technical direction, platform structure, REST APIs, and real-time WebSocket features.
• Build reusable, documented frontend components and libraries while maintaining responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
• Set up and maintain GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, and testing workflows.
• Optimize application performance and scalability, troubleshoot frontend issues, and review code for quality.
• Collaborate with the Backend Department and mentor mid-level and junior developers.

Requirements

• 3–4+ years of relevant software development and/or testing experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Vue.js, ideally Vue 3, plus JavaScript ES6+, TypeScript, HTML5, and Tailwind CSS.
• Experience building single-page applications with WebSockets.
• Proficiency with Vite or Rollup, Git/GitHub, and CI/CD using GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Vitest, Vue Test Utils, and Playwright for unit and end-to-end testing.
• Clear written and verbal English communication is required.

Nice to have

• Node.js, TanStack Query, Design Systems, and Storybook experience.
• Performance profiling, bundle optimization, PWA, internationalization, and Sentry familiarity.
• Experience with UI libraries such as Vuetify, Quasar, Shadcn, or Reka UI.
