Lead Solutions Architect (AI)

What you will do

• Lead complex enterprise accounts with custom requirements from initial technical discussions through production.
• Deliver demos and pitches to budget holders and C-level stakeholders.
• Build working customer prototypes quickly using AI-assisted development.
• Mentor Solutions Architects and Senior Solutions Architects with Field Engineering leadership.
• Strengthen Databricks' technical presence in the DACH market through collateral, workshops, meetups, and conference talks.
• Develop regional best practices and collaborate with internal subject-matter experts, product teams, and leadership.

Requirements

• Fluent German and business-level English are required for daily customer and internal communication.
• Substantial technical pre-sales experience across the full sales lifecycle.
• Experience leading complex customer engagements, cross-functional teams, and executive-level business and technical conversations.
• Deep expertise in data engineering or data science, with hands-on coding ability in Python and SQL.
• Daily practical use of AI tools, coding assistants, and AI agents, including building customer-specific prototypes.
• Hands-on experience running complex proofs of concept on at least one major public cloud.
