Data Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Support a proof of concept for the DX platform to measure the value of AI-assisted software development.
• Define measurement models and success criteria for AI adoption, usage intensity, time savings, quality impact, lead time, and ROI.
• Configure the DX platform, including SSO, identity integration, permissions, teams, hierarchies, and data models.
• Integrate GitLab, CI/CD, ticketing, identity systems, and telemetry from tools such as GitHub Copilot.
• Establish baselines, validate data quality, analyze quality metrics, and connect AI-related measurements with cost data.
• Develop dashboards, reports, exports, documentation, and scaling estimates for future AI adoption.

Requirements

• Experience with data engineering and integrating data from development, delivery, identity, and AI-tool systems.
• Ability to configure data models, team mappings, permissions, and identity or SSO integrations.
• Experience with measurement, data quality validation, error analysis, and correction.
• Understanding of anonymization, aggregation, data minimization, and separation of usage measurement from individual performance measurement.
• Ability to analyze software delivery quality metrics, including change failure rate, review effort, rework, and security findings.
