TL;DR
Member of Technical Staff II (BMC Firmware) (C/C++, Embedded Linux, NVIDIA AI Platforms): Developing and maintaining BMC firmware for enterprise and data center server platforms with an accent on low-level drivers, server management interfaces, platform telemetry, and hardware security. Focus on building MCTP/NSM telemetry pipelines, implementing SPDM and Root of Trust features, debugging I2C/I3C, PCIe, and SHMEM subsystems, and delivering authenticated firmware updates.

Location: Taipei, Taiwan; right to work in Taiwan required

What you will do

  • Design, develop, debug, and maintain MegaRAC/OneTree BMC firmware for NVIDIA Grace, Blackwell, and Vera Rubin server platforms.
  • Develop low-level firmware and Linux device drivers for I2C/I3C, Device Tree, SSIF, PCIe, and Shared Memory interfaces.
  • Implement NVIDIA management and security features, including NSM, SPDM attestation, hardware Root of Trust, and authenticated PLDM firmware updates.
  • Bring up and troubleshoot GPU/CPU telemetry, thermal regulation, power capping, and CPER error decoding.
  • Support customer requirements, write technical documentation and architecture specifications, and deliver reference solutions for enterprise AI platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of software or firmware development experience.
  • Strong C/C++ programming skills and solid Linux system-level development and debugging experience.
  • Experience with BMC, server firmware, embedded systems, or system management software.
  • Understanding of computer architecture, server hardware, firmware debugging, log analysis, and root-cause analysis.
  • Successful background and reference checks and proof of the right to work in Taiwan are required.

Nice to have

  • Experience with OpenBMC or MegaRAC/OneTree, NVIDIA server platforms, or ASPEED BMC SoCs.
  • Knowledge of OpenBMC architecture, systemd, D-Bus, Linux kernel drivers, and Device Tree.
  • Familiarity with EROT/iROT, Caliptra, SPDM, Redfish, NSM, MCTP, and secure firmware update flows.
  • Experience with I2C/I3C, SPI, UART, PCIe, platform sensors, thermal management, and power sequencing.
