Undergrad Intern - Business Development (Biotech)

Location: Thousand Oaks, California, United States; candidates must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship.

Salary: $28.87 per hour

What you will do

• Support Business Development deal teams working on mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, and licensing transactions.
• Analyze competitive landscapes across therapeutic and geographic areas to identify potential targets.
• Build financial valuation, transaction, and scenario-analysis models.
• Assist with transaction planning, deal operations, negotiations, and deal structuring.
• Prepare governance and cross-functional meeting materials and deliver a final presentation to the Business Development organization and relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States for the duration of the program.
• Currently enrolled full time in a Bachelor's degree program at an accredited college or university with a minimum 3.0 GPA or equivalent.
• Must have completed at least one year of study before the internship and remain enrolled after the program.
• Must be available to work a full-time schedule.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, collaboration, and prioritization skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Nice to have

• Academic concentration in accounting, finance, economics, business administration, biology, biochemistry, bioengineering, chemical engineering, another scientific field, or pre-medicine.
• Interest in healthcare, biotechnology, and business.
• Understanding of basic financial principles and prior work experience.
