Lead Engineer Testing (Selenium)

What you will do

• Perform end-to-end manual and automated testing for web-based applications.
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain Selenium WebDriver automation scripts and scalable automation frameworks using Java.
• Create functional, regression, integration, and API test scenarios for REST and SOAP services.
• Validate databases with SQL queries, joins, stored procedures, and data verification.
• Analyze logs and troubleshoot defects in Unix/Linux environments.
• Support CI/CD release pipelines and drive defect management, root cause analysis, production validation, and continuous quality improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of experience with Selenium, API testing, cloud, and AI-related technologies, including hands-on Selenium WebDriver automation with Java.
• Experience with Data-Driven, Hybrid, and Page Object Model automation frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of STLC, software testing methodologies, Agile practices, and manual testing of web applications.
• Practical experience with Postman and/or SoapUI, complex SQL validation, Unix/Linux troubleshooting, Jenkins, Git, Maven, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with JMeter, Artifactory, security testing, and non-functional testing.
• Knowledge of cloud-native application architectures and AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with GenAI-assisted testing tools, AI copilots, and prompt engineering.
• ISTQB, Selenium Automation, cloud, or GenAI certifications.
• Knowledge of financial services, tax reporting, or regulatory technology.
