Internal Audit Summer Internship (Insurance)

Location: Hybrid role in Short Hills, New Jersey; applicants must be within commuting distance of the location.

Salary: USD $22.00–$25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support audit engagements by gathering documentation, testing controls, and analyzing data.
• Evaluate processes and control activities for weaknesses, inefficiencies, and compliance issues.
• Document audit findings and prepare workpapers and audit summaries.
• Collaborate with auditors and business stakeholders on process improvement and risk mitigation recommendations.
• Work with the Internal Audit team within the corporate Legal Department.

Requirements

• Current college student majoring in Finance or a related field.
• High school diploma required.
• Ideal candidates are full-time undergraduate juniors or seniors who can perform at a professional level.
• Interest in learning about the insurance industry.
• Applicants must be within commuting distance of Short Hills, New Jersey.

Nice to have

• Experience with Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Eligibility to earn college credit according to the requirements of the candidate’s institution.
