Senior AI Engineer (Agents & Applications)

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate production-grade agentic applications for AI-factory planning, commissioning, workload onboarding, benchmarking, scheduling, maintenance, incident response, and continuous improvement.
• Define and implement agent architectures including workflows, state and memory management, specialized sub-agents, model routing, retrieval, human-in-the-loop approvals, and event-driven coordination.
• Build RAG and context pipelines combining documentation, runbooks, telemetry, logs, traces, scheduler state, benchmark data, configuration records, and operational knowledge.
• Integrate governed agents with Kubernetes, schedulers, inference endpoints, observability platforms, databases, CI/CD systems, ticketing tools, and operational APIs.
• Develop simulation, replay, shadow-mode, evaluation, safety, observability, and audit capabilities before controlled production execution.
• Collaborate with inference, Kubernetes, platform, security, UX, product, and global operations teams to deliver measurable production workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years building AI/ML applications, distributed systems, automation platforms, data products, or production workflow systems.
• Production experience delivering LLM-powered, agentic, retrieval-augmented, decision-support, or operational-automation applications.
• Strong Python expertise with API frameworks, asynchronous programming, event-driven services, distributed task execution, data pipelines, and integrations.
• Hands-on experience with agent frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, PydanticAI, Haystack, DSPy, or equivalent frameworks.
• Experience with orchestration technologies, RAG architectures, vector/search/graph databases, cloud-native AI platforms, Kubernetes, model serving, and GPU resources.
• Understanding of agent security, responsible-AI controls, evaluation, observability, prompt injection defense, permission boundaries, sandboxing, auditability, and human approval safeguards.
