Weapons Integration Engineer (Multiple Levels)

What you will do

• Integrate weapon systems with ground launchers, tactical aircraft, and emerging platforms across the full system lifecycle.
• Act as the technical liaison with government customers, platform manufacturers, and external stakeholders.
• Develop integration plans, technical specifications, interface documentation, and certification artifacts.
• Lead mission planning, verification, live-fire, ground, and flight-test activities, including pre-test analysis, real-time support, and post-test evaluation.
• Collaborate with propulsion, avionics, GNC, software, flight-test, and manufacturing teams on system-level design trades.
• Support fielding, sustainment, operational deployment, and customer acceptance of mission-ready weapon systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, mechanical, or electrical engineering, physics, or a related technical field.
• At least 2 years of experience in systems engineering, mission or weapons integration, technical project management, or weapons system development.
• Hands-on experience with launch vehicles, weapons systems, system integration, or aerospace defense platforms.
• Experience working with the Department of Defense or other national security agencies.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance and meet applicable U.S. Government eligibility requirements.
• Ability to work full-time onsite in Torrance, California and travel up to 25% for customer meetings, test campaigns, and program execution.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a relevant technical field.
• Experience with hypersonic weapons, missile defense, mission design, or platform integration.
• Experience integrating weapons or sensors with tactical aircraft or ground-based launch systems.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
